Exclusive FOC Member Session: Supply chain at the forefront of the hydrogen and low-carbon transition

Gas, water, and electricity utility companies play a pivotal role in enabling the UK’s transition to a low carbon future. The Low Carbon Energy Forum provides a strategic platform for companies working in utilities to demonstrate leadership, shape policy, and collaborate on the transformation of national infrastructure.

 Delegates will hear from:

✅Innovation Strategy Manager Commercial Directorate David Hardman National Gas

Joint Gas Networks Innovation Strategy Bi-annually all energy networks are required to present their strategic visions for the following years, and ahead of the start of our new price control period (RIIO-3) the gas networks have come together to produce our latest Gas Networks Innovation Strategy. This document summarises the 5 key themes that the Innovation teams within the gas transmission and distribution companies will be focusing on and importantly details the challenges that we all want to innovate and address under these themes.

✅Technical Manager Services Beyond the Meter Earl Richards Cadent

Services Beyond the Meter (SBtM) – Hybrid Heating Initiative Through the growth of Cadent’s Services Beyond the Meter Programme, where heating appliances are currently replaced on a like-for-like basis, the programme is now exploring low-carbon alternatives such as hybrid systems to support customers on their journey to Net Zero. In addition, the programme aims to provide further energy efficiency measures within customers’ homes alongside installation works.

✅Hydrogen & Innovation Manager Chris Wood National Gas Metering

Developing the next generation of hydrogen infrastructure products This presentation will outline the development of new hydrogen infrastructure products to meet the up and coming market opportunities brought by HAR and Track1 cluster projects.
