Now live: How Skewb and Cadent are reshaping the Connections experience, together
Developed in close partnership with Cadent’s Connections team at Ansty, ConnectMe reflects an agile, hands-on approach - with Skewb and Cadent working side by side to design, test and continuously refine processes to deliver better outcomes for customers.
The platform brings customer interactions, workflows and data into one place, creating a seamless journey from enquiry through to delivery. Customers can track progress in real time, understand what’s next and move forward with greater confidence - improving visibility at every stage.
Designed and delivered by Skewb, ConnectMe transforms what has traditionally been a complex, fragmented process into a more intuitive, digital-first experience. Automation reduces manual handoffs, speeds up quote generation and makes the end-to-end journey faster and easier to navigate.
Behind the scenes, ConnectMe also supports Cadent’s teams by connecting systems and workflows - improving visibility of work in progress and enabling more consistent, efficient delivery.
A collaborative transformation
Alex Parkins, Principal Consultant at Skewb, said the focus throughout has been on delivering a better experience for the end customer: “ConnectMe has been built around real customer needs. By bringing together people, processes and data, we’re helping Cadent create a service that is simpler to navigate, faster to access and more transparent at every stage.
“Working closely with Cadent has allowed us to continuously adapt and refine the platform as we go - ensuring it delivers meaningful improvements not just for customers but for the teams supporting them.”
This closely aligned, iterative way of working has been key to shaping a platform that balances customer experience with operational effectiveness.
Jessica Allen, Head of Connected Workplace at Cadent, said ConnectMe marks a significant step forward in how the organisation delivers digital services: “ConnectMe allows us to bring together data, processes and customer experience into a single platform, helping us provide a more transparent, consistent and customer‑focused service.”
Jo Elleman, Head of Customer Connections at Cadent, added that simplifying the journey has been central to its design: “We know the Connections process can be complex. ConnectMe gives our customers clearer visibility, simpler interactions and greater confidence in how their application is progressing.”
Henry Uriem, Governance Manager CEC – Connections at Cadent, highlighted the impact for both customers and internal teams: “For our customers, it’s about clarity and control. At the same time, it enables our teams to deliver a more consistent and reliable service, underpinned by a single source of truth that benefits everyone.”
The go‑live of ConnectMe at Cadent marks the start of a longer-term transformation in how Connections services are delivered. With a connected digital platform in place, Cadent is now equipped to continuously evolve the customer experience and deliver more consistent, high-quality outcomes at scale - a clear example of how Skewb helps organisations turn complexity into simple, scalable digital services.
